Software Engineer

Now we are looking to strengthen our R&D team in Turku with a Software Engineer  

Product development is the heart of our company and software development is an essential part of that. We are now looking for a colleague to further strengthen our R&D team. The technologies we use include for example .NET (C#/F#), React with JavaScript, Git and GitHub, Windows, Linux (Debian), Visual Studio and VS Code, but your current skillset can differentiate from that. The main criteria is, that you are willing to learn, enthusiastic to create new and capable of working independently within the team. The goal is to ensure well-functioning and user-friendly systems with high quality, according to the planned schedules. You don’t have to do this all by yourself, there is a strong project team always there to support you.  

We know that there are always ways to do things smarter, and we are looking for a person with a mindset to actively contribute to continuous improvement.  

✅ Desired background and qualities :

• Degree in computer science or similar relevant skills  
• 3+ years working experience, practical experience in software programming. 
• Experience and understanding of source control and methods for ensuring software quality. 
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving mindset 
• Interest in life sciences, technology, and their applications 
• Good cooperation skills 
• Ability to prioritize and get things done.  
• Good written and spoken communication skills in English  
• Possibility to travel
