Now we are looking to strengthen our team in Turku with R&D Chemist
Product development is the heart of our company, and we are now looking for a colleague to strengthen our R&D team. You’ll be at the forefront of developing innovative chemical solutions that support Hidex customers across the world.
This is a new role where you can utilize your background and skills to define and develop processes and working methods.
🗝️ Your main responsibilities are:
- Developing new chemical products – with a focus on liquid scintillation cocktails
- Development of testing methods for Hidex chemical products portfolio
- Research and development of raw materials and production processes
- Ensuring product quality and resolving technical issues
- Collaborating closely with manufacturing partners and raw material suppliers
✅ Desirable background and qualities:
- PhD or Master’s degree in chemistry, preferably in organic or analytical chemistry
- Experience in product development of chemical products
- Motivation to grow into a world-class expert in your field
- Fluent English
- A curious mindset, eagerness to innovate, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
♠️ In additional we value:
- Experience in radiochemical analysis
- Knowledge of chemical legislation (e.g. CLP, REACH and PIC)
